Ionamin Weight Loss Pills
Ionamin® and Duromine® are popular brand name timed-release resin version for the weight loss diet pill phentermine. Either are used in combination with diet and exercise to help you lose weight. It works by decreasing your appetite.
Ionamin® is a slow release resin from Australia while Duromine® is a slow release resin from New Zealand.
Ionamin®/Duromine® Side Effects
As your body adjusts to the medication, the side effects of phentermine are blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, stomach upset or constipation. Other common symptoms are: increased blood pressure, irritability and nervousness.
Ionamin®/Duromine® Dosage
Generally, it is recommended by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that phentermine should be used short-term (usually interpreted as “up to 12 weeks”), while following non-pharmacological approaches to weight loss programs such as healthy dieting and exercise.
Due to the risk of insomnia, it is generally recommended that the drug be taken either before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast.
